ANL joins CMA CGM, partners on new Pacific service
Melbourne-based ANL Container Line is joining the new weekly “Shanghai Express” transpacific service of parent company CMA CGM, operated jointly with Norasia Container Lines and Wan Hai Lines.
The service starts on June 1 with the sailing of the vessel “Independence” from the port of Fuqing. The “Shanghai Express” will use five ships of about 3,000 TEUs and call Fuqing, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Los Angeles, Oakland and back to Fuqing.
According to the global liner-shipping database ComPairData, ANL will now offer three Asia to U.S. West Coast services and one Asia to U.S. East Coast link.
