Kuehne + Nagel has expanded its logistics operations space in Belgium.
On Wednesday, the company finished the second phase of its Geel facility was inaugurated, expanding the development’s 45,000 square meters of space to a total of 65,000 square meters. An area of 10,000 square meters is specifically designed to meet requirements of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
In operation since 2006, the center serves as an import, storage and European distribution hub.
“I am very pleased about the dynamic growth of our Belgian organization and in particular about the excellent performance of our contract logistics business here in Geel,” stated Honorary Chairman Klaus-Michael Kuehne.
