CN CONTINUES TALKS WITH CANADIAN AUTO WORKERS
Canadian National railway is continuing negotiations with the Canadian Auto Workers in hopes of reaching a new collective bargaining agreement with the union.
The union said that its 5,000 members would strike CN in Canada on March 7, if negotiations fail to produce a new three year agreement.
CN said it believes it can reach an agreement with the union and avert a strike. But if a work stoppage occurs, CN said it will continue operations with management personnel.
