TIBBETT & BRITTEN LAUNCH HOUSEWARE E-COMMERCE FULFILLMENT VENTURE
Tibbett & Britten Group plc has launched an e-commerce fulfillment venture with SF Cody’s Emporium, a retailer of housewares, gifts and gadgets.
Tibbett & Britten’s 82,000-square-foot Leicester distribution center will handle storage, picking, packing and dispatch of items from SF Cody’s online catalog, at www.codygifts.com , providing next-day or 48-hour delivery. Tibbett & Britten also runs the onsite call center which handles customers’ telephone and e-mail inquiries.
In January, Tibbett & Britten launched Track One Logistics, its U.K.-based joint venture which specializes in home and retail delivery of music, videos, books and computer games.
