CSX train hits walker in D.C.
A CSX freight train struck and killed a pedestrian in Washington, D.C., according to WTOP Radio.
The accident occurred on a stretch of track near the Capitol, the same area the city is trying to protect from deadly airborne chemicals by forcing the railroad to re-route certain hazardous material shipments.
The train was carrying scrap iron.
