Confreight starts LCL service to Baltic

European non-vessel-operating common carrier Confreight Group will offer fortnightly less-than-containerload service from Rotterdam, Antwerp, Marseilles, Hamburg and the United Kingdom to the Baltic region.

Confreight will move LCL freight to the Baltic cities of Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius. The NVO appointed Nordicon as its agent in the Baltic region.

“It is our intention to offer weekly departures [to the Baltics] after a few months of operation,” said Roger Claessens, president of Confreight. “The new service will be incorporated into the network of the Confreight Group and offer LCL departures from all continents to the Baltics.”

Confreight, headquartered in Antwerp, operates 27 offices in Europe.
