Homeland Security sets meeting for Customs advisory panel

   The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said its Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection will meet 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6 in Washington.

   The panel will discuss advance cargo manifest information, the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and the Container Security Initiative (CSI), among other topics.

   The four-hour meeting is open to the public, but participation is by invitation only.
