PSION, SYVOX TO SPEECH-ENABLE MYSAP
Psion Teklogix, a provider of mobile computing solutions, and SyVox Corp., a source of speech-based applications for industrial markets, said Thursday that they will jointly develop and market speech-powered solutions for clients using the mySAP.com e-business platform.
The companies have jointly produced a new set of collaborative tools and technologies which they have called TekRF for SpeechNet.
Previously, Psion Teklogix developed wireless solutions for the SAP R/3 client server system. SyVox has designed speech applications for warehousing and logistics services. Psion is based in Vancouver, SyVox in Boulder, Colo.
