Blood, Seattle port executive, ends 33-year career

   Charles Blood, director of executive outreach at the Port of Seattle, will retire April 1, M.R. Dinsmore, the port's chief executive officer, said in a statement.

   Before joining the port in 1972, Blood had managed airfield operations at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Blood's duties will be taken over by John Okamoto, the port's chief administrative officer.
