Chinese airline to serve Thai capital
Shanghai Airlines Co. Ltd. has won approval to operate all-cargo flights to Bangkok, Thailand, according to Reuters. It is the first time the city government-backed airline, which mainly flies domestic routes, has been granted permission to operate all-freight international routes.
An airline spokeswoman told the news service the airline would probably wet lease a plane and let another company move the cargo on its behalf.
