CenterPoint Properties, an industrial real estate development and management firm, sold a 174,400-square-foot facility within the DuPage Business Center in western Chicago, Ill. to Simpson Manufacturing Company.
The facility is equipped with 48,776 square feet of office space, 28 exterior docks, two drive-in doors and 401 car parking spots, CenterPoint Properties said.
Simpson Manufacturing joins diverse clients at the DuPage Business Center, such as DS Containers, which has a manufacturing facility at the site; and New Continuum, which has a fully redundant data center at the site.
Based out of Pleasanton, Calif., Simpson Manufacturing specializes in designing, engineering and manufacturing building products.
