COSCO, Tokyo Senpaku swap China/Japan slots
COSCO Container Lines has entered into a slot-exchange agreement with Tokyo Senpaku Kaisha covering the trade between China and Japan.
COSCO said that it will operate a North China/Japan service, while Tokyo Senpaku Kaisha will run a South China/Japan service.
Both carriers will have slots on the two services under the cooperative agreement, which starts in November.
The port rotation of the North China/Japan service is Xingang, Yingkou, Dalian, Yokohama, Tokyo, Nagoya and Xingang. The rotation of the South China/Japan service is Huangpu, Shekou, Hong Kong, Kobe, Tokyo, Yokohama, Moji, Keelung, Hong Kong and Huangpu.
