Commerce denies export privileges to Canadian shipper
The U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security will deny export privileges to Mahmoud Haghsheno Kashani of Ontario, Canada-based Zimex for five years for his attempts to illegally export U.S.-made parts to Iran.
BIS said Kashani attempted to export replacement parts for multiple gas analyzers to Iran through Germany and Saudi Arabia, a violation of U.S. export regulations.
