FMC reviews OTI application, revokes nine licenses

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received an ocean transportation intermediary license application for review.

The agency received the ocean freight forwarder license application from Promptus LLC, Miami, Milton Tejada, operating manager. Persons knowing of any reason why this company should not receive its OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.

The FMC also revoked nine OTI licenses for the companies’ failure to maintain valid bonds with the agency. These operators include All-Points Forwarding, Miami; Customs Services International, Miami; Distribution Support Management, Newman, Ga.; EAFF (USA), Medley, Fla.; Emmett I. Sindik, New Orleans; Harv Trans, Springfield Garden, N.Y.; Italian Seaways International, Miami; Professional Export Services, Eagan, Minn.; and Sansu International, Brooklyn, N.Y.
