Hamburg Sud Venezuela promotes Castillo
Hamburg Sud Venezuela C.A., the Caracas-based subsidiary of German ocean carrier Hamburg Sud, has promoted Omar Castillo to director of operations, logistics and finance.
Castillo joined the organization in 2001 and since 2005 has served as operations manager for Hamburg Sud Transportes S.A. in Valencia overseeing the company’s trucking operation in Venezuela and managing the inland container yard in Valencia.
