Canadian Minister of Transport Marc Garneau announced that Ken Clayton has been reappointed and Rita Andreone has been appointed to the Prince Rupert Board Authority (PRPA) board of directors for three-year terms.
Clayton has served on the board since 2014 and chairs the major projects committee.
Andreone has more than 30 years of experience practicing corporate commercial law in British Columbia. She also serves on the boards of the Vancouver Foundation and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.
PRPA President and CEO Shaun Stevenson said Andreone’s “experience in corporate governance will be an invaluable addition to our governance team as the port continues to realize its vision of strategic growth and diversification.”
Andreone replaces Bruce Hallsor, who joined the board in February 2013 and served as the audit committee chair.
