Hike the fuel tax to pay for infrastructure

Indiana wants more toll roads

There is a push going on in the state of Indiana for more toll roads. Legislative leaders are unsure of how more tolling will be implemented, but it could be truck-only tolls or only new lanes. (Greensburg Daily News)

Texas to require ELDs in intrastate commerce

Texas is the first state that has announced it will require truck drivers in intrastate operation to use electronic logging devices. The federal ELD rule goes into effect later this year and states, under federal law, have the ability to align state laws with federal laws, which is what Texas seems to be planning. (Overdrive)
