The National Brotherhood of Teamsters and ABF Freight System have reached another 30-day contract extension because the parties have not yet come to terms on two of the supplemental agreements to the National Master Freight Agreement.
Both parties approved the National Master Freight agreement at the end of June, but have been going back and forth since then on the supplemental items. The agreement, which includes employee increases in health contributions and pension plans, was to be implemented August 1.
