ABX LOGISTICS EXPANDS IN FRANCE
ABX Logistics (France) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire the SNTO-Bouquerod Group, its latest in a series of acquisitions in France.
The company will take over the SNTO company and Bouquerod's assets in the groupage, semi-bulk and charter sectors, the company 39 Express in Champagnole, plus transport and customs operations with Switzerland.
SNTO in Besan'on specializes in international traffic to Maghreb countries (Tunisia) and to Central and Eastern Europe (essentially Romania).
These combined facilities provide 65.5 million euro in revenue.
ABX Logistics also recently acquired Testud and its 18 agencies in the southeast, and Delagnes, and its 14 agencies in the southwest.
In France, ABX Logistics represents turnover of more than 690 million euro and is looking to exceed 760 million euro in 2001.
