AGOTC TO HOLD ANNUAL MEETING JUNE 6
The Agriculture Ocean Transportation Coalition will hold its annual meeting in San Francisco June 6.
The meeting will cover issues impacting agricultural commodities shippers, including:
* State of freight rates, surcharges and general rate increases.
* Service contract negotiations.
* Customs advance notice requirements.
* New exporter certification and cargo user fee.
* Washington transportation update.
There will also be sessions on the West Coast port operations, trucking concerns, and new Food and Drug Administration import data rules.
