AirBridge Cargo starts Frankfurt/Sakhalin Island flights
Russia’s first scheduled all-cargo airline, AirBridge Cargo, has started scheduled weekly flights from Frankfurt, Germany, to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, located in Sakhalin Island, via one of its Russian hubs in Krasnoyarsk.
AirBridge will deliver cargo from Frankfurt to Krasnoyarsk onboard its Boeing 747-200 service to connect with the KrasAir and AirBridge joint flight to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
AirBridge and KrasAir said they expect to increase the service from weekly to three flights in line with customer demand.
AirBridge Cargo was launched in 2004 by Volga-Dnepr Group.
