AIRFORWARDERS ASSOCIATION, TIACA SIGN AGREEMENT
The International Air Cargo Association and the Airforwarders Association have signed an agreement to share information and discuss and coordinate action on industry issues.
David E. Wirsing, executive director of the Airforwarders Association, and Geoffrey Bridges, president of TIACA, signed the memorandum of understanding in an effort to “improve the shipping process, eliminate obstacles and focus attention on the air transportation issues involving world trade and the global marketplace,” the two organizations said.
TIACA's is comprised of top executives from major aircraft manufacturers, airlines, airports, shippers, integrators, aviation authorities and freight forwarders from throughout the world.
The Airforwarders Association, formed by three forwarders in 1990, is a leading organization for the air-freight forwarding industry.
