American to reduce fuel surcharge
American Airlines Cargo has reversed the trend for upward spiraling fuel surcharges by announcing a decrease.
Effective Nov. 16, American’s fuel surcharge will drop from 60 cents per kilogram to 55 cents per kilogram for most U.S.-origin international shipments, and from 24 cents per pound to 22 cents per pound for U.S. domestic shipments.
