APHIS PPQ inspectors get allowance pay for work travel in Hawaii
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will include allowance payments to Plant Protection and Quarantine inspectors that travel within Hawaii for their work.
The so-called “commuted travel time” periods covered under the rulemaking involve travel from where PPQ inspectors are dispatched to their destination in Hawaii and back. This allowance covers allowance between Hilo and Hakalau, Kurkistown, Mt. View, Pepeekeo, and Umauma.
