APL COMPLETES TAKEOVER OF GATX LOGISTICS
APL Logistics said that it has completed the purchase of GATX Logistics announced last month.
Jacksonville, Fl.-based GATX, the second largest warehouse-based contract logistics company in the U.S., was majority owned by financial firms Oak Hill Capital Partners, L.P., and the Stephens Group.
The $210-million acquisition will increase APL Logistics’ revenues by 70 percent, or over $300 million, APL said.
