Arbitrator named for chicken classification dispute

   James Bacchus, chairman of the global trade practices group at law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been appointed as an arbitrator in the dispute between the European Community, Brazil and Thailand over customs classification of frozen boneless chicken cutlets, according to the World Trade Organization.

   Bacchus is a former judge on the WTO’s international trade tribunal, a congressman from Florida and special assistant to the U.S. Trade Representative.
