ASSOCIATED TRANSPORT LINE/CROWLEY MARITIME TO COOPERATE

   Associated Transport Line and Crowley Maritime Transport have entered into
a cooperative working agreement authorizing the carriers to charter space to each other,
coordinate sailings, use common port facilities, exchange equipment and trade information,
and discuss and reach non-binding agreements on rates.
   The agreement covers the trade between U.S. Gulf ports and U.S. inland points
and ports and points in Colombia, Mexico, Trinidad and Venezuela.
