ATA names FAA’s Pinkerton VP of government affairs
The Washington, D.C.-based Air Transport Association of America, Inc. (ATA), whose members control more than 90 percent of all United States airline passenger and cargo traffic, has appointed Sharon L. Pinkerton vice president of government affairs.
Pinkerton was assistant administrator for aviation policy, planning and environment at the Federal Aviation Administration. She will join ATA April 17.
