Austrian Airlines has awarded a three-year cargo handling contract to Menzies Aviation in Sydney and Melbourne.
The new contract is a continuation of an agreement between the two companies that started in 1999. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
The airline operates six flights a week linking Vienna with Sydney via Kuala Lumpur and three services a week on a Vienna/Singapore/Melbourne/Singapore/Vienna routing.
Most of the airline’s flights are operated by Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
