BA World Cargo promotes Gardiner, Searancke
British Airways World Cargo has appointed Mark Gardiner general manager, London operations, and is about to appoint Ed Searancke as general manager, customer delivery.
Gardiner has worked for BA World Cargo since 1986, most recently as senior manager of Ascentis, the carrier’s advanced cargo handling facility located at Heathrow.
Ed Searancke, currently responsible for BA World Cargo’s United Kingdom and Ireland field sales team and Gatwick operation, has worked for the carrier in a variety of positions since 1996. His new role will involve integrating BA World Cargo’s planning activities and network operations. He is due to start in his new position June 27.
