BAX Global expands China presence

   Irvine, Calif.-based BAX Global has opened its sixth branch office in China, in Nanjing. The company now has four wholly foreign owned enterprises, six branch offices, nine representative offices and one joint venture in the country.

   The Nanjing office will offer the complete BAXSuite integrated logistics services, including international and domestic air freight, ocean freight, exhibition support services, ground transportation consulting services and supply chain management solutions.

   “We have opened this office in a key growth engine of China’s economy as a means to continually enhance our market coverage and get closer to our customers manufacturing operations in the Yangtze River Delta region,” said James Gagne, managing director of BAX Global China.

   BAX Global is a part of DB Logistics, the transportation and logistics division of Germany’s Deutsche Bahn.
