BAX GLOBAL TO MANAGE REVERSE LOGISTICS FOR XEROX UNIT
BAX Global said Monday it has signed a one-year contract to manage Xerox's Office Printing Business returns management business.
The contract will rely on BAX Global's BAXSaver service and the Web-based MyBAX return logistics management tool. BAXSaver provides time-definite delivery in one to three days within the continental United States.
Xerox said its goals was to gain control and visibility over its Oregon-based group's returned materials. Xerox required tracking and tracing at the serial number level, improved accounting and billing, and specialized returns management services including packaging, disposal, recycling, inside pickup and delivery, and Web-based management reporting.
BAX Global is an Irvine, Calif.-based subsidiary of The Pittston Co.
