Beacon Council working with Latin chambers
The Beacon Council, which promotes business and trade in Miami-Dade County, has signed promotional agreements with the Central America-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Nicaraguan-American Chamber of Commerce, according to a report in the Miami Herald.
The report said the agreements are intended to help develop business links between Miami-Dade County businesses and partners in Central America.
Among the first activities will be a trade mission to Nicaragua from October 31 to November 6. Beacon Council executives will join the mission, which will include presentations to 50 companies on doing business in Miami-Dade County.
