BNSF EXTENDS TIME-DEFINITE SERVICE TO TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED COMMODITIES
Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Co. said Tuesday it will extend its on-time intermodal guarantee program to including services for temperature-controlled commodities in nine service lanes.
Fort Worth, Texas-based BNSF introduced the guaranteed service for dry freight in select lanes last May, offering a full money-back guarantee for on-time delivery.
The premium service is available at three intermodal service levels for Chicago/Seattle; Chicago/Portland, Ore.; Chicago/San Bernardino, Calif.; Chicago/Denver; Chicago/Dallas-Fort Worth; St. Paul, Minn./Seattle; St. Paul/Portland; Kansas City/San Bernardino, Dallas-Fort Worth/San Bernardino.
