BNSF Logistics adds North Dakota 3PL
BNSF Logistics has acquired Pro-Am Transportation Services Inc. of Jamestown, N.D., the railroad said Tuesday.
Pro-Am is a third-party logistics company that had about $25 million of revenue in 2006. Specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The newly acquired company will operate within the transportation execution services unit of BNSF Logistics, which is a subsidiary of BNSF.
'Pro-Am is an excellent operating company, with a large base of industrial business that is complementary to our portfolio, adding highly desired modal extension and depth,' said Eric Wolfe, vice president and general manager of BNSF Logistics, in a statement.
