Boeing confirms Thai Airways International as 777 buyer
Boeing has confirmed Thai Airways International placed a previously unidentified order during the fourth quarter of 2004 for six 777-200ER airplanes, with a total value of about $1.1 billion at list price.
Boeing will commence deliveries of the 777-200ER airplanes in August 2006 through October 2007.
According to Boeing, 38 customers have placed 671 orders for the 777, with 500 delivered so far worldwide.
