BOLERO SIGNS KUEHNE & NAGEL
Bolero.net, the electronic communication system provider, has signed up the Kuehne & Nagel forwarding and logistics group as a customer.
Kuehne & Nagel will initially work with Otto Versand, the large German mail order group, on introducing bolero.net into shipments of clothes from Asia to Germany.
“We were looking for a better and more efficient way to fulfil our clients’ business needs,” said Thomas Engel, chief information officer of Kuehne & Nagel International AG. “Bolero.net allows us to integrate with Otto Versand’s supply chain parties, speed the trading process and reduce errors, all of which should translate into better customer service and cost savings.”
The Kuehne & Nagel group has a network of company-owned bases in 90 countries and uses all modes of transport.
