Bremen ports’ box traffic up 9.3% after nine months
The combined container traffic volume at the German ports of Bremerhaven and Bremen increased by 9.3 percent, to 2.75 million TEUs for the nine months period ended Sept. 30.
Bulk cargo volumes at Bremen/Bremerhaven dropped 10.6 percent to 6.9 million tons after three quarters, while general cargo movements improved 8.5 percent to 33.1 million tons.
