BRENNAN, AFS EXPAND SERVICES TO AUSTRALIA
AFS, an agency affiliate of Brennan International Transport, has added 14 new less-than-containerload services between the United States and Australia's mainland ports.
Brennan is an agency affiliate of NACA Group, which also comprises Direct Container Line and Conterm Consolidation Services. As part of the alliance, AFS serves as Brennan's agent in Australia and Brennan is AFS' U.S. representative.
AFS now offers seven weekly direct services to Sydney, seven to Melbourne, one to Brisbane, one to Adelaide. Also, service to Fremantle has been improved to Weekly.
Direct LCL services to Australia are available from Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
The partnership with Brennan will also expand export coverage from Australia to South America and Mexico, via Los Angeles and Miami, said Steve Rieson, AFS's chief operating officer.
AFS is Australia's largest neutral NVO, moving more than 30,000 containers a year. The company has offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New Caledonia.
