BRENNAN STARTS PROJECT CARGO SERVICE
Brennan International Transport, a neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier subsidiary of NACA Logistics Group, has opened a project cargo department at its Los Angeles office.
The company said it made the decision to start a project cargo service after receiving requests from forwarder and NVO customers and agency partners. Brennan appointed Donna Betts, a 20-year verteran of the company, to manager of the new department.
“It is a very specialized field and you need to have resources dedicated to project cargo,” said Vince Argenzio, vice president of sales for Brennan. “Aside from the obvious advantages of local expertise, language, and time differences, on-site planning and supervision of transloading, crating, and loading at the local level is crucial in the success of a project cargo shipment.”
