Bridges named executive director at port of Oakland
The port of Oakland has appointed Jerry Bridges executive director, replacing Tay Yoshitani, who is leaving.
Bridges has been director of maritime for three years at the northern Californian port. Previously, he was vice president with Marine Terminals Corp., where he managed the operations and expansion of the MTC terminal in Oakland. Bridges also worked for five years as port manager of Sea-Land.
