British Airways’ cargo flat in September
British Airways transported 391 million cargo ton-kilometers in September, a small 0.4 percent drop against 392 million cargo ton-kilometers transported in the same month last year.
BA’s overall load factor in the month was down 0.9 points to 72.3 percent.
After the first six months of its financial year started in April, the airline has flown 2.36 billion cargo ton-kilometers, down 1.5 percent compared to 2.40 billion cargo ton-kilometers reported in the same year-earlier period. BA’s overall load factor for the fiscal year so far declined 0.2 points to 72.1 percent.
