British Airways World Cargo’s revenues flat in first quarter
British Airways World Cargo reported flown revenues of '118 million ($210 million) for its fiscal first quarter ending June 30, flat against the first quarter in the last fiscal year.
Volumes fell 2.6 percent to 1.18 billion cargo ton kilometers against an increase in capacity of 1.4 percent, resulting in a load factor decline of 2.4 points. Revenue per cargo ton kilometer (yield) was up 2.7 percent for the quarter to '0.10 (18 cents).
