BROWN SHOE CO. PICKS G-LOG STRATEGY SOLUTION

   Brown Shoe Co. Inc., a retailer and wholesaler of footwear in the United States and Canada, has contracted with G-Log, a provider of Web-native logistics applications, to use a G-Log solution to manage Brown’s domestic and international transportation network.

   Brown, which operates 900 stores in its Famous Footwear chain and 400 stores in its Naturalizer chain, will use G-Log’s GC3TM platform to connect vendors, carriers, and other parties participating in freight settlement.

   G-Log is based in Shelton, Conn.
