BSW picks DHL Logistics to manage warehousing
Broadcast Supply Worldwide, a distributor of high-end broadcast audio products, has selected DHL Logistics to run BSW's U.S. and international warehousing and distribution operations.
DHL Logistics will manage all pick, pack and shipping operations for professional audio equipment products from BSW, whose customers, which include recording studios and radio and television stations, will have express, second-day, and ground delivery options.
Using DHL will also 'benefit BSW by extending its hours of operation, providing the ability to take orders up to 1 a.m. Eastern time for delivery that same morning for urgent products. The majority of BSW's customers can receive two-day service at ground rates from DHL's hub in Wilmington,' said Tim Schwieger, president of BSW, which is based in Tacoma, Wash.
DHL Logistics, based in Wilmington, Ohio, is part of DHL, a provider of express delivery and logistics services.
