Busan port plans ambitious redevelopment
The port of Busan in Korea is planning an ambitious redevelopment that will cost $9.2 billion and will be completed in 2020.
The North Port redevelopment plan project, to begin in 2008, will include $7.2 billion in spending from the private sector.
The project will include redevelopment of 1.42 million square meters of general piers and the port’s central pier.
The plan calls also for an international passenger terminal and coastal ferry terminal and a landmark 120 story skyscraper.
