Bush administration considers adding Iraq to GSP program
The Bush administration will consider adding Iraq to the list of developing countries eligible for duty-free status.
If approved, Iraq will become part of the U.S. government’s Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program. Comments regarding this proposal are due to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative's GSP Subcommittee by Aug. 2. For more information, contact the USTR at (202) 395-6971.
