Bush awards $77 million contract for AIDS drugs distribution

   The Bush administration has awarded a $77 million logistics management contract to a consortium of 15 organizations for the global distribution of AIDS drugs, the 'Washington Post' reported today.

   According to the 'Post,' the Partnership for Supply Chain Management will coordinate with governments and donor organizations to deliver AIDS drugs to 15 countries in Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. The partnership will be overseen by John Snow Inc. and Management Sciences for Health.
