BUSH NOMINATES TWO DEPUTY U.S. TRADE REPRESENTATIVES
President Bush has nominated Peter F. Allgeier and Linnet F. Deily to be Deputy U.S. Trade Representatives, with the respective ranks of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Allgeier is senior director for international economic affairs at the National Economic Council.
Deily is vice chairman in the office of the president for the Charles Schwab Corp. Prior to joining Schwab in 1996, she was president, chairman and chief executive officer of First Interstate Bank of Texas.
