BUSH REQUESTS $18.47 MILLION FOR FMC 2004 BUDGET
The Bush administration has requested $18.47 million to cover the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission’s operations in fiscal year 2004.
Congress appropriated about $16.70 million to the FMC in fiscal year 2003.
The House Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, chaired by Rep. Frank LoBiondo, R-N.J., will hold a hearing to review the FMC’s proposed fiscal year 2004 budget on Thursday.
